
Officials revealed on Saturday that a doctor in Nashik was brutally assaulted with a 'koyta' (machete) following a financial dispute. According to the information received, Dr. Suyash Rathi from Suyash Hospital was reportedly attacked on Friday by the husband of the hospital's public relations officer, leaving the doctor critically injured. Upon receiving news of the assault, authorities from the Panchavati police station swiftly responded and initiated an investigation into the matter. The assailant reportedly struck Rathi 18 times with the 'koyta', resulting in severe injuries. The motive behind the attack was revealed to be a monetary disagreement between the doctor and the suspected assailant. Rathi remains in critical condition as doctors continue to administer necessary treatment.
