ഭുബനേശ്വർ: ഒഡീഷയിലെ ബരിപാഡ ടൗണിലെ പണ്ഡിറ്റ് രഘുനാഥ് മുർമു മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലെ അവസാന വർഷ എം.ബി.ബി.എസ് വിദ്യാർഥിയെ (ഹൗസ് സർജൻ) ദുരൂഹ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി. കിയോഞ്ജർ സ്വദേശി സച്ചിൻ കുമാർ സാഹുവാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഉച്ച കഴിഞ്ഞ് മൂന്ന് മണിയോടെ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലെ ഡ്യൂട്ടി കഴിഞ്ഞു സച്ചിൻ തൻ്റെ ഹോസ്റ്റൽ മുറിയിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ, വൈകുന്നേരമായിട്ടും അദ്ദേഹം മുറിയിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയില്ലെന്ന് അടുത്ത വൃത്തങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു. സച്ചിൻ്റെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ ഹോസ്റ്റൽ മുറിയുടെ വാതിലിൽ മുട്ടിയപ്പോഴും മറുപടിയൊന്നും ലഭിച്ചില്ല. പിന്നീട്, അവർ സച്ചിൻ്റെ മുറിയുടെ ജനൽ തകർത്തപ്പോഴാണ് സീലിംഗ് ഫാനിൽ തൂങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്ന നിലയിൽ സച്ചിനെ കണ്ടത്. ഉടൻ തന്നെ സച്ചിനെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ് അധികൃതർ സംഭവം സച്ചിൻ്റെ വീട്ടുകാരെ അറിയിച്ചു. “ഞങ്ങൾ സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഹൗസ് സർജൻ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്‌തതാവാം. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് അന്വേഷണം നടന്നു വരികയാണ്." ബരിപദ സദർ പോലീസ് ഐ.ഐ.സി മധുമിത മൊഹന്തി പറഞ്ഞു.
