സുൽത്താൻപൂർ (ഉത്തർ പ്രദേശ്): ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച്ച പുർവാഞ്ചൽ എക്സ്പ്രസ്വേയിൽ വെച്ച് ഡോക്ടർ ദമ്പതിമാരുടെ കാറിൽ തീപിടിത്തം. ഇവർ അത്ഭുതകരമായി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു എന്നാണ് ദൃക്സാക്ഷികൾ പറയുന്നത്. ഡോ. പ്രവീൺ കുമാറും ഭാര്യ ഡോ. സ്വപ്ന ഭാരതിയും പട്നയിൽ നിന്ന് ലഖ്നൗവിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നതിനിടെ സുൽത്താൻപൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ അഖണ്ഡനഗർ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ പരിധിയിലാണ് സംഭവം നടന്നത്. എഞ്ചിന് തീപിടിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ഇരുവരും കാറിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്തേക്ക് ചാടിയാണ് ജീവൻ രക്ഷിച്ചത്. ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് എക്സ്പ്രസ് വേസ് ഇൻഡസ്ട്രിയൽ ഡെവലപ്മെന്റ് അതോറിറ്റി (യൂ.പി.ഇ.ഐ.ഡി.എ) രണ്ട് വാട്ടർ ടാങ്കറുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് ഒടുവിൽ തീ നിയന്ത്രണവിധേയമാക്കിയത്. ബരാബങ്കി ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയുടെ ഉടമയാണ് ഡോ. പ്രവീൺ കുമാർ.
