NATHEALTH, the apex body representing India's healthcare industry, has announced its new leadership team for the fiscal year 2023-24. Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director of Max Healthcare Institute Limited, has been appointed as the new President for FY 2024-25, succeeding Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi. The announcement was made during the annual general meeting following the 10th NATHEALTH Arogya Bharat Summit – 2024. Joining Soi in the leadership team are Ms. Ameera Shah, Promoter and MD of Metropolis Healthcare, as Senior Vice President, and Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, as Vice President. Dr. Om Prakash Manchanda, Managing Director of Dr. Lal PathLabs, assumes the role of Treasurer, while Anish Bafna, CEO and MD of Healthium Medtech, becomes the Secretary. This distinguished team of industry leaders aims to further NATHEALTH’s mission of enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality throughout India. Continuing his role as Secretary General, Siddhartha Bhattacharya will lead the NATHEALTH Secretariat team in ongoing endeavors to cultivate strategic partnerships, unite healthcare stakeholders across India via regional chapters, and collaborate with policymakers to drive synergy propelling the next healthcare wave nationwide. Newly appointed NATHEALTH President, Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director of Max Healthcare Institute Limited, expressed his honor in leading NATHEALTH during this pivotal healthcare era. Dr. Sangita Reddy, Vice President of NATHEALTH and Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, expressed her honor in serving as NATHEALTH's Vice President during India's transition into a new healthcare era. She emphasized the importance of addressing systemic issues to enhance patient well-being and drive industry advancement.
