New Delhi: During the commemoration of the 69th Founder’s Day on April 13, 2024, Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman of the Board of Management at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, emphasized the institution's steadfast dedication to charitable initiatives. He highlighted the hospital's status as India's largest charitable healthcare facility, showcasing its provision of 2,647 free surgeries, 20,078 complimentary X-rays, 2,238 free MRIs, and 2,661 free CT scans during the period mentioned. Dr. Swaroop praised the exceptional performance of the hospital staff, their enduring commitment to patient care, philanthropy, and academic excellence. Additionally, he announced plans for a new comprehensive cancer care center and the expansion of the hospital's capacity by 200 beds to better serve the community. In the latest communication issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC), there has been a decision to temporarily suspend the implementation of the recently published "National Medical Commission Registered Medical Practitioner (Professional Conduct) Regulations, 2023."
