ടികംഗർഹ് (മധ്യ പ്രദേശ്): മധ്യ പ്രദേശിലെ ടികംഗർഹ് ജില്ലയിൽ ഒരു സർക്കാർ ഡോക്ടർ (60) സ്വയം വെടി വെച്ച് മരിച്ചു. മധ്യ പ്രദേശ് ഹെൽത്ത് ഡിപ്പാർട്മെന്റിൽ മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസറായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്ന ഡോ. സുരേഷ് ശർമ്മയാണ് മരണപ്പെട്ടത്. ലൈസൻസ് ഉള്ള തൻ്റെ സ്വന്തം തോക്കായ .315 റൈഫിൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് ഡോക്ടർ വെടിയുതിർത്തത്. പോലീസ് പെട്ടെന്ന് തന്നെ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയെങ്കിലും അപ്പോഴേക്കും ഡോ. സുരേഷ് മരണത്തിന് കീഴടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. ജതാര ടൗണിലെ തൻ്റെ സർക്കാർ വസതിയിൽ വെച്ചാണ് ഡോ. സുരേഷ് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്‌തത്‌. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ശനിയാഴ്ച്ച ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 1 മണിക്കായിരുന്നു സംഭവം നടന്നത്. ആ സമയത്ത് ഇദ്ദേഹം വീട്ടിൽ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കായിരുന്നു. ഡോക്ടറുടെ ഭാര്യ അപ്പോൾ ജോലിക്ക് പോയിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇദ്ദേഹം എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്‌തു എന്നതിന് ഇപ്പോഴും വ്യക്‌തത വന്നിട്ടില്ല. എന്നാലും കുടുംബ വഴക്കാണ് കാരണമെന്ന് പ്രാഥമിക അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ പറയുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ പതിനഞ്ചു വർഷമായി ഡോ. സുരേഷ് ശർമ്മ ജതാര ഹെൽത്ത് സെന്ററിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നെന്ന് വ്യക്തമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഡോ. സുരേഷ് ശർമ്മയുടെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്താലേ കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾ ലഭിക്കുകയുള്ളൂവെന്നും സംഭവത്തിൽ ശക്തമായ അന്വേഷണം നടന്നു വരികയുമാണെന്നും പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
