ആലപ്പുഴ: വിദേശത്ത് പഠിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന മൂത്ത മകൻ്റെ മരണ വാർത്തയറിഞ്ഞ് ഡോക്ടർ കായംകുളത്തെ തൻ്റെ വീട്ടിൽ വെച്ച് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു. ഡോ. മെഹറുന്നിസയെ (48) ആണ് തൂങ്ങി മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. മാവേലിക്കര സർക്കാർ ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ഇ.എൻ.ടി സ്പെഷ്യലിസ്റ്റായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു വരികയായിരുന്നു മെഹ്റുന്നിസ്സ. കാനഡയിൽ പഠിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന തൻ്റെ മൂത്ത മകൻ്റെ മരണവാർത്തയറിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം ഡോക്ടർ ഏറെ വിഷാദാവസ്ഥയിലും ദുഃഖിതയുമായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. ആക്സിഡണ്ട് ആണ് മകൻ്റെ മരണ കാരണം എന്നാണ് അറിയാൻ കഴിയുന്നത്. “രാവിലെ വീട്ടിലാണ് ഡോക്ടറെ തൂങ്ങിമരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. അവരുടെ ഭർത്താവും ഇളയ മകനും ആ സമയം അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല." ഒരു പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ പറഞ്ഞു. സംഭവം കണ്ട വീട്ടുകാർ ഉടൻ തന്നെ ഡോ. മെഹറുന്നിസയെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല
Tirur: The rapid response team formed as a result of the Thanur boat accident has officially started their operations. The Tirur IMA section formed a 50 member rapid response team in connection with the Thanur boat disaster. The team conducted a preliminary meeting and the meeting was held at the conference hall of the Taluk Hospital. Tirur Municipal chairman K.P Muammed Kutty was the chairman in the meeting and the North Zone vice president Dr. A.I Kamarudheen performed the official inauguration of the team’s operations.
