The Department of Surgical Disciplines and Department of Nephrology at AIIMS-Delhi, in collaboration with the Organ Retrieval Banking Organisation (ORBO), successfully performed a dual kidney transplant on a 51-year-old woman patient who had been undergoing dialysis.

A medical intern, identified as Dr. Anushka, enrolled in the MBBS program at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, tragically took her own life by hanging herself.
