On Friday, the Madhya Pradesh government removed a doctor from his position at the district hospital in Chhatarpur. This action came after a video emerged showing the doctor allegedly behaving inappropriately towards a Home Guard jawan and instructing him to adhere to certain boundaries. The incident occurred on February 12, according to sources within the hospital. State Public Health and Medical Education Minister Rajendra Shukla ordered the removal of Dr. Arunendra Shukla from his position at the Chhatarpur district hospital after a video surfaced, depicting the doctor's inappropriate behavior. In the video, which has gone viral on social media, Dr. Shukla can be heard telling the Home Guard jawan, "I am not afraid of the collector. If you threaten me, I will make you dance to my tunes. First of all, don’t come to the hospital chewing gutka and don’t forget your limits." Minister Shukla emphasized that such conduct would not be tolerated. The video captures the moment when the doctor throws away the documents belonging to the Home Guard jawan and directs him to leave. According to hospital sources, the home guard staffer was at the hospital to arrange for a CT scan and X-ray for an accident victim he knew when the incident occurred. In response to the seriousness of the matter, the health minister ordered Dr. Shukla's transfer from his position on Friday. He informed reporters, "This kind of behavior in public life is intolerable. Dr. Shukla has been removed from his post, and the matter will be further investigated."
