ഭോപ്പാൽ (മധ്യ പ്രദേശ്): കടബാധ്യതയെ തുടർന്ന് മധ്യപ്രദേശിലെ സാഗർ ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു ഡോക്ടർ ദമ്പതിമാർ അവരുടെ വീട്ടിൽ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതായി പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. ജില്ലാ ആസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്ന് 70 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ ബിനാ ടൗണിലെ നന്ദൻ കോളനിയിലുള്ള വീട്ടിലാണ് ഡോക്ടർമാരായ ബൽബീറിനെയും മഞ്ജു കൈത്തോറിയയെയും മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. പട്ടണത്തിന് പുറത്ത് പഠിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകൻ ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ വീട്ടിൽ തിരിച്ചെത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് മൃതദേഹങ്ങൾ കണ്ടത്. ബൽബീറിൻ്റെ മൃതദേഹം സീലിംഗ് ഫാനിലും മഞ്ജുവിൻ്റെ മൃതദേഹം കട്ടിലിലുമാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. പ്രഥമദൃഷ്ട്യാ, വിഷവസ്തു കഴിച്ചോ കുത്തിവച്ചോ ആവാം മഞ്ജു മരിച്ചതെന്ന് പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. ദമ്പതികളുടെ മുറിയിൽ നിന്നും ആത്മഹത്യാ കുറിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതിൽ കടബാധ്യത തങ്ങളെ ഏറെ ആശങ്കാകുലരാക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും ദമ്പതികൾ എഴുതിയതായി പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. സംസ്ഥാന ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പിലെ ഡോക്ടർമാരായിരുന്നു ഇവർ ഇരുവരും. ബൽബീർ കുർവായിലെ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി ഹെൽത്ത് സെന്ററിലും മഞ്ജു, ബീന സിവിൽ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലെ ഗൈനക്കോളജിസ്റ്റുമാണ്. കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും കൂടുതൽ അന്വേഷണം നടന്നുവരികയാണെന്നും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ അറിയിച്ചു.

At present, a total of nine medical institutions, primarily managed privately or under trust-based structures, are encountering limitations in admitting students for the ongoing MBBS course for the 2023-2024 batch. This has resulted in a notable scarcity of 1,500 available seats. Among these institutions, two are situated in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, while the remainder are distributed across Punjab, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
