New Delhi: The National Medical Commission's (NMC) anti-ragging cell has taken proactive measures by establishing a national task force dedicated to addressing the mental health and well-being concerns among medical students.

നവി മുംബൈ: ഒരു പ്രമുഖ ഇ-കൊമേഴ്‌സ് പോർട്ടൽ വഴി 300 രൂപയുടെ ലിപ്സ്റ്റിക്ക് വാങ്ങാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച ഡോക്ടർക്ക് (31) നഷ്ടമായത് ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ. ലിപ്സ്റ്റിക്ക് ഓർഡർ ചെയ്തതിന് ശേഷം ഡോക്ടറുടെ അക്കൗണ്ടിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ തട്ടിയെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

The Allahabad High Court has ordered the Uttar Pradesh government to strictly prohibit government doctors from engaging in private practice. The court raised concerns that doctors are neglecting their duties in public hospitals and prioritizing private clinics for personal gain, severely affecting public healthcare services.

New Delhi: The National Medical Commission's internal panel is considering endorsing only "ethical" advertisements by corporate hospitals, aligning with the guidelines outlined in the Professional Conduct of Registered Medical Practitioners regulations issued in August 2023, which were later withdrawn amid protests by the Indian Medical Association.
