
On Wednesday in Fatehpur city, Uttar Pradesh, three individuals, including a doctor, lost their lives when the car they were in collided with a utility pole, as per the police statement. The fatal collision occurred around 3 am on the Fatehpur-Bhitaura road, involving a doctor and two companions who were returning from the doctor's engagement celebration. As per a police official, Dr. Mayank Sachan, who had just marked his engagement, was on his way back home accompanied by his friends Suresh Sachan, Gaurang Sachan, Shivam Gupta, and Dr. RK Singh. Police reported that the vehicle lost control, veering into a tree before hitting an electric pole. Mayank, Gaurang, and Shivam passed away at the accident scene, while Suresh and Dr. RK Singh were hospitalized in critical condition after being taken to a nearby medical facility. They have been subsequently transferred to a hospital in Kanpur for additional medical care. The bodies have been dispatched for postmortem examination, while the police are in the process of determining the specifics of the accident.
