Bharat Innovates 2026 has opened the Healthcare & MedTech vertical with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore acting as the nodal institute, inviting innovators to join a mission to transform healthcare across India and beyond. Under this theme, the programme seeks proposals in medical devices, digital health platforms, biotechnology, telemedicine, AI-driven clinical decision systems, and assistive technologies. The call is targeted at ventures whose technologies are at TRL 3 to 9 and who can demonstrate both clinical efficacy and regulatory readiness, with potential to scale globally. 

Applicants are required to submit their proposals by October 15, 2025, after which a rigorous evaluation process will identify the most promising ideas to be supported. Selected teams may benefit from mentorship, funding, networking, and collaboration opportunities anchored through IISc Bangalore and the broader Bharat Innovates ecosystem.
