Guwahati: A tragic incident unfolded in Baithalangso, West Karbi Anglong District of Assam, as a senior doctor lost his life while two others sustained injuries in a road accident last night.

On Wednesday, April 10, Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital in Karkala collaborated with Kasturba Hospital in Manipal, Udupi district, to pioneer an aerial healthcare delivery system using drones.

In a landmark achievement, doctors at the Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai announced the successful Total Knee Replacement (TKR) procedure on a 72-year-old American man, weighing a remarkable 193 kg. This groundbreaking surgery marks a significant milestone as the heaviest patient ever to undergo such a procedure globally.
