Bengaluru doctors have raised concern that heart disease, once common in older age, is now increasingly seen in people in their 30s and 40s. They say the trend is alarming and needs urgent attention. According to health experts, a mix of reasons is driving this rise. High blood pressure and diabetes, often left unchecked, are two major causes. Unhealthy diets rich in fried and processed foods, combined with sedentary lifestyles, irregular sleep and high stress levels, are making the situation worse.
Doctors also point out that people with a family history of heart problems, diabetes or hypertension face even greater risk. They warn that ignoring these factors can lead to early heart attacks and serious health complications.
Medical professionals are urging people to take preventive steps at a younger age.
They recommend regular health check-ups, eating fresh and balanced meals, exercising daily and managing stress. They stress that waiting until symptoms appear can be dangerous. The warning serves as a reminder that heart disease is no longer an illness of the elderly. Building healthy habits early in life is now seen as the key to protecting the heart.
