In a rare and shocking medical case in Jaipur, Rajasthan, doctors at a private hospital discovered and removed unusual foreign objects from the stomach of a 26-year-old man. The patient, who is from Bhilwara district, had been suffering from severe abdominal pain for several weeks. Initial treatment at a local hospital did not bring relief, after which he was referred to a city hospital for advanced care.

Medical scans revealed the presence of multiple foreign objects inside the man’s stomach. Doctors first attempted to remove them through an endoscopic procedure, but the effort was unsuccessful. Due to the seriousness of the situation, the medical team decided to perform open surgery, which continued for more than two hours.

During the surgery, doctors removed seven toothbrushes and two iron sheets from the patient’s stomach. The doctors said the objects had remained inside for a long time, increasing the risk of internal injury and infection. They described the surgery as critical to saving the patient’s life.

According to doctors, the man had developed a habit of swallowing non-food items about a month ago, which slowly worsened his condition. They called the case extremely rare and warned that swallowing foreign objects can cause serious health problems if not treated on time. After the surgery, the patient’s condition is stable and he is under medical observation.
